Every single time I come home to visit Lapeer, i must go here. i grew up with this place. just went in on Christmas eve to order my staple "pita chips" and "Bloody Mary".... thank you for not changing the pita chips - tasty as always... i'm so glad that little place on the lake is always open when i need them most. love you lake inn. keep on keeping on.

Great casual dining. Have taken many friends and everyone has tried something different and no one has anything but great food. Started serving desserts and everyone raved about how awesome they are.

Super casual, lots of fun. Had lunch here last week - it was very quiet. I've been in other times where it has been loud and crazy due to a sporting event on one of the many TV's.
I like the atmosphere much more now that the Michigan smoking ban has been in effect - the smoking section was not separated enough to avoid the smoke & the stink.
The view of Lake Nepessing is very pretty.
One of my favorites is their chicken & chips. The chicken strips are marinated before they're breaded & fried. The French dip sandwich is another favorite. We split a BBQ chicken quesadilla appetizer, which was absolutely fantastic.
